(Extract.  There has recently been an increase in thefts of trailers, particularly Ifor Williams. Ifor Williams hold a database of owner details for their trailers and horse boxes and it is important to update them when you buy or are about to buy a trailer as they will be able to confirm if it is a stolen one. (Lots in this week’s edition: suspect Suzuki Vitara; metal detecting – unlawful taking of ancient ring; Gypsy Liaison Team (GLT) searched an address in Gravesend, seized a large sum of cash and mobile phones etc, approx £80k in what was believed to be forged bank notes, two persons were arrested and are being investigated by the serious crime department; dynamic rapid entry made to an address in Thanet, firearms and ammunition was found. It is believed that no licences were in place for these weapons; suspect vehicle in Faversham failed to stop, a car chase ensued.)
