The referendum will ask whether you wish the Pluckley Neighbourhood Plan to be the basis on which Ashford decides future planning applications. If the result is positive, then the plan should be formally adopted soon after. If negative, then applications would be decided according to Ashford’s borough-wide policy rather than the one developed within the community of Pluckley. For details click here.
On Friday 24th February we are holding an event in the village hall to celebrate five months of Nextdoor.co.uk in Pluckley. The aims of the event are to:
1. Say thank you to all you guys for joining nextdoor and making it such a success.
2. Welcome new members and recruit new members so please pass this invitation on to your friends and neighbours (Pluckley Village only please).
3. Present the hamper to the winner of the best recruiter
4. Answer any questions you may have about Nextdoor.
5. Have fun.

Garden visit Long Barn nr Goudhurst. This stunning garden was the first garden of Vita Sackville-West before Sissinghurst. A rose walk, herbaceous borders within ‘rooms’ make this a must-see garden.
